Interface dual bridge low profile load cells have been selected for the Undercarriage Tests on the latest Airbus project. | |

In order to maintain high accuracy and performance while working with Skydrol hydraulic fluid these special low profile units were selected. The Interface low profile load cells are made from alloy steel (which for load cell applications has better material characteristics than stainless steel) and to provide comparable protection they are available with a Skydrol resistant paint finish.
As well as having the Skydrol resistant paint finish these units have the output connectors placed closer together to simplify connection in inaccessible areas on these large test rigs. The outputs from both bridges are carefully matched for performance using proprietary self-compensating gauges and every low profile unit is individually moment compensated during manufacture for best results in hydraulic actuator applications. |
